Rotary Hearth Type Furnaces complete the IVA product portfolio at the current stage.

They are utilized for the following processes and purpose:

• (Gas) Carburizing

• Carbonitriding

• Heat-up to hardening temperature

• With subsequent (external)

  • Single component press / fixture quenching to avoid parts distortion

  • Single- or multiple components (low distortion) plug / mandrel quenching

  • Oil quench of small batches

IVA Rotary hearth furnaces are designed and manufactured of robust design, easy to maintain. The following standard sizes (useful hearth diameter) are available beside other customized versions upon request

• Rotary hearth O.D.: 1.500 / 1.800 / 2.200 / 2.700 / 3.500 mm

• Electric- and gas radiant tube heating

  • depending upon parts / batch nature in vertical as well as horizontal orientation

• alternatively w/ one or two automatically operated separate charge and discharge doors

• Atmosphere circulation fan

• Automatic loading and discharging table

• Integrated protective gas generator (endothermic gas or methanol cracker)
