Rotary drum type furnaces

Rotary Drum (Scroll) Type Furnaces DRG…/DER are particularly appropriate for tempering of bulk materials and mass produced components of smaller sizes. Performed processes within that type of furnace are:

• Gas carburizing (of shallow depth)

• Carbonitriding

• Hardening under protective atmosphere w/ quenching in

  • Oil

  • Water / Polymer

  • Quench salt

• Austempering

The Rotary Drum (Scroll) Type Furnaces DRG…/DER is of particular solid design and of modular construction, allowing individual adaptation of the furnaces to the special requirements and fully automatic processes.

Every continuous system is disposing of electrical switch units, measuring and control devices, providing reproducible results and thus producing uniform quality.

As valuable option, IVA is offering a modular process control system for the fully automatic control of all treatment parameter, documentation and process visualization included.
