MTH – One of the world’s leading supplier of heat treatment equipment

It was November 1999, when 3 industrial furnaces manufacturer had been put on sale through M/s. BODYCOTE, the world’s largest commercial heat treatment service provider based on a decision, to stick to its core business and spin off the equipment making business.

So Fours Industriels BMI (France), MAHLER (Germany) und SCHMETZ (Germany) decided to form - together with participation of financial investors – with the Metal Technology Holding (MTH)

The goals had been back then and still are, to maintain the leading position in this industry and further grow on all relevant markets. In line with this strategy, new companies had been acquired and integrated into the group.

As far as speaking for IVA Industrieöfen GmbH, majority stakes had been taken over by the MTH group in Mai 2005, followed by the second stage of complete takeover in October 2006.

At the outset of 2008, two more companies joined the MTH – group, M/s. HUISEN, headquartered in Shanghai (China) and M/s. RIVA, Poland, which is a subsidiary of IVA Industrial Furnaces GmbH.

Combined, the group offers the largest, most diverse product portfolio in the field of heat treatment equipment makers with market leading positions in many areas.
